Le Panoramic
Perched at 2,000m on the Brévent mountainside, Le Panoramic offers on-mountain dining with some of the most spectacular views of any restaurant in the Alps. The terrace looks directly across to the Mont Blanc massif. Perfect for a long lunch in the sunshine.
Chalet de la Flégère
A traditional mountain restaurant serving classic Savoyard dishes — tartiflette, fondue, and croûte au fromage — in a warm, rustic setting on the slopes. The terrace is a suntrap with panoramic views. A favourite stop for skiers and hikers alike.
Plan Joran
Casual mountain dining at the mid-station of Les Grands Montets. A great terrace for soaking up the afternoon sun, with simple but hearty mountain food and excellent views of the Argentière glacier.
Refuge du Lac Blanc
Reached by a moderate hike from La Flégère, this mountain refuge serves excellent lunches with arguably the most iconic view in Chamonix — the turquoise lake perfectly reflecting the Mont Blanc range. Worth the walk.

Chambre Neuf
Chamonix's liveliest late-night venue, with DJs, dancing, and a party atmosphere that carries on until the early hours. The Scandinavian-inspired interior is surprisingly stylish for a ski-town bar.
